Community Arts Center offers scholarships
JOHNSTOWN -- The Community Arts Center of Cambria County has announced its 2024 Summer Arts Camp Scholarships. For the nine weeks from June 10 through the week of Aug. 5, there will be a total of 27 Summer Arts Camps.
Each week offers exciting themes geared for three different age brackets: Camp Create Mini-preschool, Camp Create-school age (elementary and middle school), and T.A.P.-Teen Art Project camps. Summer Arts Camps themes and descriptions will be released in early May to CACCC's members and then publicized on CACCC's website.
Campers will attend a half-day session for Camp Create Mini-preschool, a full day for Camp Create-school age, and a full day for T.A.P.-teens. All camps have the luxury of reduced prices for Community Arts Center members in addition to applying for camp scholarships. Summer Arts Camp Scholarships are for those whose families are facing financial hardships or participate in reduced and free lunch PA state program.
