The AAHS Class of 1973 marked its 50th class reunion celebration with three days of events, including a tour of the new Altoona Area High School building the weekend of Aug. 11-13. The group gathered in late fall to present a $5,000 check to the AAHS Alumni Association designated for the AAHS Alumni Association Scholarship Program. The Class of 1973 will sponsor one $1,000 scholarship for the next five years.
