The junior class from Claysburg-Kimmel High School traveled to Washington, D.C., on Nov. 30. The trip included a tour of the Capitol Building, a special session with Rep. John Joyce and a visit to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. While at the museum, the students were able to hear directly from a survivor. The trip was paid for by the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies in Johnstown.
