ROARING SPRING -- Roaring Spring Community Library, 320 E. Main St., has announced its November activities and programs.
Library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The library is closed on Fridays. It also will be closed on Nov. 11 and 12 in observance of Veterans Day and Nov. 23, 24, 25 and 26 for Thanksgiving.

10:30 a.m. every Wednesday -- Magical Make-Believe Story & Craft Hour with Miss Cortney and special guests.
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday -- Drop-in Homework Help.
10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday and 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday -- Warm Winter Wear Giveaway.
4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 -- Craveable Creations Teen Cooking Program at Trinity United Methodist Church, 434 E. Main St., Roaring Spring. Preregistration is preferred.
5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 7 and 14 -- Budding Chefs program at Trinity United Methodist Church, 434 E. Main St., Roaring Spring. Preregistration is preferred.
4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 -- Board Game Night with Miss Cortney.
4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 -- Drive-thru or drop-in sandwich sale. Sandwiches will be available for $4 each at Trinity United Methodist Church, 434 E. Main St., Roaring Spring. Ham, turkey and roast beef, each with cheese.
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 -- UPMC Cooking Demonstration.
4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 -- STEM with Miss Jess. Preregistration is preferred.
10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 -- Quilting with Alane. Preregistration is preferred. This program will be held at Bare Memorial Church of God, 508 E. Main St., Roaring Spring.
1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 -- Seed Packing Party. Help pack seeds for the 2024 Seed Library. Preregistration is required.
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 -- Cooking with Dottie from the Penn State Extension Office.
5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 -- Wreath Making with the Blair County Conservation District. Preregistration is preferred. $15 material fee (cash or check only), payable to Blair County Conservation District.
