Public invited to take part in Avenue of Trees

The Altoona Grand Hotel will present the 2023 Avenue of Trees this holiday season.

Organizers are inviting participants to decorate a tree for their business, organization or in memoriam for $200.

All proceeds will be donated to Catholic Charities and the Blair County Food Drive.

The tree decorating party will be held Nov. 15. Altoona Grand will provide snacks and drinks for decorating crews from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Grouse's Nest.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, Nov. 8.

The check presentation and tree-lighting ceremony will take place Nov. 22 on the 6 p.m. newscast on WTAJ.
