Invited to march in Thanksgiving parade in Philadelphia
The Hollidaysburg Senior and Junior High Cheerleaders recognized 16 of its cheerleaders who earned the All American Award at the Universal Cheer Association Summer Camp they attended in June.
While attending the two-day camp, the cheerleaders worked to further develop their spirit, cheer, dance, jumps, tumbling and stunting skills.
As part of the camp, a tryout was held in order to qualify for the All American Award. The winners of this award received a medal, as well as an opportunity to perform in the Thanksgiving Day parade in Philadelphia.
As the cheer program continues to grow and develop, the coaches are proud of not only the All American award winners, but the rest of the team for their hard work as well.
