PBR School of Dance named national champions

The Pauline Baker Rodgers School of Dance became National Champions in July at the Encore Grand Finals in Orlando, Fla.

"Hands Where My Eyes Could See," choreographed by Natalie Aikens, received a Mic Drop adjudication, a near-perfect score, and placed as the First Overall Top Elite Senior Small Group.

They were also selected to recompete in the Elite 12 & Over Standing Ovation Championship where they won First Overall.

PBR Dance also won first place in three other categories: "Telephone" choreographed by Emily Liebal placed as First Overall in Competitive Junior Small Groups. "Think" choreographed by Rachel Monahan placed First Overall in Competitive Petite Small Groups. Rozzie Binus won First Place Overall Top Competitive Petite Soloist for her solo. Rozzie also was the highest scoring Competitive Solo/Duet/Trio Age 11 & Under of the entire competition.

PBR Dance was founded by Pauline Baker Rodgers. Miss Pauline has been teaching for 63 years. Her daughter, Mary Ellen Everhart, and granddaughter, Rachel Monahan, are now the directors of PBR Dance.
