Paint and Sip for Britta will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at the Duncansville Community Center, 315 14th St., Duncansville.
Come out and support Britta Albright for a fun afternoon. Britta has lived in the Hollidaysburg area her entire life. She has been helping heal the nation's veterans for more than 10 years in her role as a physical therapist.
She recently spent 26 days in the hospital, undergoing multiple surgeries which left her without intestines. She has returned home and is awaiting an intestinal transplant.
Britta has been through so much and will have a long road ahead both pre and post transplant.
Kristie Putt, a local artist, will lead the group in painting a winter scene.
There also will be a basket raffle with lots of great items. All money raised will help Britta with her expenses.
The cost is $40 per person, which includes paint supplies, wine and snacks.
