On Sept. 22, the Lisa Meyers Audet Foundation donated a vending machine full of books to Charles W. Longer Elementary School in Hollidaysburg. The foundation was created to remember and honor Lisa Meyers Audet. Lisa and all of her siblings attended C.W. Longer. The family and foundation wanted to hare Lisa's love of reading and reward students with a gift of books. Students can earn a token to purchase a book by demonstrating positive Golden Tiger traits of citizenship, integrity, perseverance, communication, adaptability or analytical thinking.
