Concert offered
Vox Nova, Mount Aloysius College's select mixed vocal ensemble, will be performing "Echoes of Broadway," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, in the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel. The event is free; donations accepted.
Book sale set
The Blair County Genealogical Society will host a mostly-used book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6-7. There will be books of all kinds, plus genealogies, novels, cookbooks and some office supplies.
Class of '75 to meet
The Altoona Area High School Class of 1975 will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at The Dream Restaurant, Hollidaysburg. All classmates are invited. The class meets the first Saturday and third Wednesday of every month.
