Bob Lykens of Duncansville submitted this photo of the Penn Central Railroad Station on 13th Street at 10th Avenue. The Penn Central ran a dozen passenger trains a day from 1968 to 1971 when Amtrak took over passenger operations. The station was small but the polished marble and oak interior made it one of the nicest in the state. The back of the photo says it was taken by Dave Seidel between 1970 and 1972.
