Fundraiser set for Nov. 3 at Blairmont Club
The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Altoona is pleased to announce its upcoming fundraiser, "Dueling Pianos: Neon Nights."
The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at the Blairmont Club in Hollidaysburg. Cost to attend is $150 per ticket.

"Dueling Pianos: Neon Nights" is an unforgettable experience where creativity, philanthropy and entertainment unite in a symphony of neon brilliance.
Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a sensory journey through dinner stations that delight the taste buds and visually complement the overall ambiance prepared by the Blairmont's celebrated chef.
Live music from the Flying Ivories will keep the energy high as guests dance the night away under neon hues. Specializing in all-request, sing-along, totally interactive dueling piano shows, the Flying Ivories tackle music from any genre.
The audience is encouraged to get involved in the pianists' antics in this combination of musical performance and comedy act.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the neon theme in their attire, donning their boldest and brightest ensembles. From glowing accessories to neon patterns, the dress code reflects the playful and vibrant spirit of the evening.
While the event promises a night of celebration, its core mission is to raise funds for SAMA's initiatives.
A silent auction featuring unique neon artworks, exclusive experiences and luxurious items will tempt guests to bid generously, knowing that their contributions support SAMA's exceptional programs, numerous changing exhibitions and award-winning educational experiences.
The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art is in the Brett Building at 1210 11th Ave., Altoona.
The hours of operation are noon to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The museum is an accessible facility and is open to the public free of charge. SAMA suggests a $5 admission donation to help support its free and low-cost educational services, cultural event programming and regional artistic exhibitions.
