Cub Scout Pack 3331 will hold an open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, at St. Mary's Church Social Hall in Hollidaysburg.
All boys who join that night with a paid membership will get a free Zebco fishing rod and reel.
The pack is open to boys in kindergarten through fifth grade. Pack leaders and parents keep the Scouts on a path of citizen training, character development and personal fitness.
As the Scouts earn a new rank each year, they are also developing friendships that will last a lifetime. This is done through a program of activities that will teach lessons of self-worth, the importance of community and helping others.
Cub Scouts race Pinewood Derby cars and Raingutter Regatta boats, go to summer camp, visit fire stations, hike, bike and have fun.
The pack meets at 6:30 p.m. Mondays during the school year at St. Mary's Church Social Hall, 312 Clark St., Hollidaysburg.
