Curve FanFest 2023 set for April 4

Altoona Curve baseball fans are invited to attend Curve FanFest 2023 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 4 at The Casino at Lakemont Park, Altoona.
This event serves as the first opportunity for fans to meet the baseball players and coaches who will make up the Altoona Curve's opening day roster, while celebrating the start of the upcoming 25th anniversary season.
FanFest 2023 is sponsored by the Altoona Curve Booster Club. The cost is $18 for Booster Club members and $20 for nonmembers, $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger.
Doors will open at 5:25 p.m., and the event will begin with music and a mini-silent auction of Curve memorabilia and other items.
Curve merchandise and ticket information tables, along with the opportunity to sign up for fan raffles, will also be available.
The buffet dinner will start at 5:45 p.m. in the Grand Pavilion Ballroom and will include grilled chicken breast, red-skin potatoes, buttered corn, penne with marinara sauce, tossed salad, chips and dessert. Beverages will include soda and water. A cash bar will be available.
At 6:45 p.m. members of the team will be introduced on stage. Starting at 7:30 p.m., an autograph session will be held in the Soho Room as fans will have the opportunity for photographs and one-on-one interaction with the new team, coaches and managers.
Tickets can be purchased by calling 814-943-5400 or at Peoples Natural Gas Field main office from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. from Monday, March 13, through Monday, April 3.
Credit cards, checks or cash payments are acceptable. No tickets will be sold at the event.
