Proclaim! TV will present "Joy to the World - Christmas in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown" at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, on WATM ABC 23.
Hosted by Tony DeGol, diocesan director of communications, the one-hour special will feature stories that highlight the glory of the season, the spirit of giving and beloved Christmas traditions.
Included in the show is Bishop Mark L. Bartchak visiting with Catholic school children and sharing the story of the Nativity; a behind-the-scenes look at decorating a church for Christmas; Catholic school students making Christmas brighter for children in need; and a visit with the Sister Servants of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus to celebrate Polish Christmas customs.
Sacred music will also be part of the program.
The show will be hosted from Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown.
