After a yearlong hiatus, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Penn will host two in-person fundraisers this year.
The Bacon & Bourbon Fest will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. May 29 at Roundhouse Harley Davidson & Powersports, 2626 PA-764, Duncansville. Tickets are $30, which includes a bourbon information and tasting session, and samples from all bourbon and food vendors. Tickets to the Bacon & Bourbon Fest also include entry to the three-day PA Roundhouse Rally.
The charity's second event for the season is the annual RMHC Mid-Penn golf outing sponsored by NPC. The 29th annual event is scheduled for June 7 at Scotch Valley Country Club, Hollidaysburg. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Play is open to all golfers, foursomes and singles. Registration is $100 per player and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, prizes, breakfast, lunch and appetizers. Registration is limited to the first 36 teams.
