Lyndsay Young and Patrick Cassidy, both of Hollidaysburg, are engaged to be married.
Miss Young is the daughter of Jim and Sandy Young of Hollidaysburg. She is a 2007 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at UPMC Altoona.
Mr. Cassidy is the son of John and Janet Cassidy of Hollidaysburg. He is a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School; a 2014 graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, with a bachelor's degree in education; and a 2019 graduate of Wilson College with his master's degree in education. He is a fourth-grade teacher at Standing Stone Elementary School, Huntingdon.
A June 2020 wedding is being planned at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.
