Winter Tree ID Walk, 2 p.m. Saturday, visitor center. Take a short walk around the park and identify several trees.

The Coyote in Pennsylvania, 2 p.m. Sunday, visitor center. Learn about the intelligent and adaptable coyote with Wildlife Conservation Officer Amy Nabozny.

Prince Gallitzin State Park, Patton, 674-1005

Family Science Night, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, meet in the lower level of the park office. Learn about beavers in demonstrations, video clips and beaver dam snacks. This program is best-suited for children ages 4 to 12, but all ages are welcome. Reservations required.

Brunch with the Birds, 10 a.m. Sunday, meet in the lower level of the park office. Learn about winter birds and birdfeeding while enjoying a mid-morning snack, then visit the parks birdfeeders.

PA Conservation Heritage Heroes: Gifford Pinchot, 2 p.m. Sunday, lower level of the park office. This video presentation focuses on our nation’s forests and why Pennsylvania was the true birthplace of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
