Fall foliage enthusiasts ride the chairlift at Blue Knob Ski Resort on Sunday afternoon. It turns out that Pennsylvania's highest skiable mountain -- Blue Knob in Claysburg -- is also a great place to see fall foliage. Under the moniker "Fall from the Top," the scenic chairlift rides have been running each weekend since the end of September. They're slated to continue next weekend, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 1, weather permitting, before closing down in preparation for the winter ski season. Tickets can be purchased at the ski lodge on top of the mountain and are $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 12 and younger. Riders are urged to wear jackets/coats.
