Altoona Area High School principal Andrew Neely (right) presents an honorary diploma to Vietnam veteran George Swartz of Altoona during halftime of Altoona's game against Carlisle at Mansion Park Stadium on Friday. Swartz left AAHS in February 1968 of his senior year in high school to enlist in the U.S. Army. He served in the Infantry Division, including a tour in Vietnam, and reached the rank of Spec. 4.
