"Earth to Moon," a NASA-funded exhibit built by faculty, staff and students at Saint Francis University, will be at the Patton Library March 15 to April 8.
The portable, mobile museum enables youth and their families to learn about and experience great discoveries and mysteries of space. It consists of a futuristic panoramic display of Earth and the Milky Way as viewed from the surface of the moon, a 3D-printed moonscape of the Apollo 17 mission landing site, lunar meteorites, simulants of broken rock and dust, lunar images and other learning materials.
The exhibit travels from library to library.
