Tom and Donna Miller

Tom and Donna Miller celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5.

They were married in Waterloo, Iowa, at Waterloo Grace Brethren Church, where they committed their lives to God and to each other.

Tom, originally from Claysburg (affectionately known as Polecat Hollow or Skunk Run), and Donna (Grady), who was raised on her family's farm in Waterloo, met while studying at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.

Tom is retired from BMH Printing and Owen's Grocery Store, and Donna is retired from teaching second grade at Warsaw Christian School.

Together, the Millers have three daughters, Annette (Miller) Coenen (deceased), Tami Miller, and Amy Miller. The couple has resided in Winona Lake for more than 50 years and continues to be active in their local church and various community activities, such as Fellowship Missions and men's and women's community Bible studies.
