Mr. and Mrs. Ricardo Nardelli of Coalport celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a celebration dinner on

Aug. 4 at Marzoni’s in Altoona for friends and family.

They were married Aug. 5, 1974. Mrs. Nardelli is the former Linda Shomo.

The couple have three children: Richard (Stacey) of Altoona, Andrew (Kristen) of Bellwood and Donald of Pittsburgh.

They also have two grandchildren: Logan Morrison and Devon Nardelli.

Ricardo is a retired maintenance worker, lastly for Black Moshannon State Park.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Aviation Ordnance from 1972 to 1976.

Linda is semi-retired from operating her own cleaning business.
