Mr. and Mrs. Jim Smith of Bellwood are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an anniversary Mass and a luncheon at the Villa Capri Restaurant at Scotch Valley Country Club, Hollidaysburg.
The couple were married May 18, 1974, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Altoona. Mrs. Smith is the former Jane Cole.
They have two children: Brad Smith, married to Christi Corl of Hatfield, and Jessica Smith, married to Lou Corsaro of Pittsburgh. They also have three grandchildren: Ava Corsaro and Hannah and Lukas Smith.
Mr. Smith retired from Conrail, Altoona.
Mrs. Smith retired from the Allstate Claims Office in Altoona.
The couple are members of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
