Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson of Altoona will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
They were married April 11, 1949, in Fairfax, Va. Mrs. Larson is the former Alfretta Finney.
The couple have three children: Charlene Heitsenrether, Kevin Larson and Kristie Holsey.
They have four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Known as "Mel" and "Honey," they have been active members of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Osceola Mills, Cresson and Bedford, and currently Hollidaysburg C&MA. Mel retired from Cooney Brothers Coal Co., Cresson, and Honey is a homemaker.
