Mr. and Mrs. Leon Zook of Hollidaysburg will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 30.
They were married Nov. 30, 1963, at the Roaring Spring Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Zook is the former Janet Guyer of Roaring Spring.
She and Leon graduated together from Morrison Cove High School (Bean Hill), Class of 1959.
The couple have two daughters: Lynne (Bill) Ruggles and Lonna Frye, both of Hollidaysburg.
They also have four grandchildren: Ethan Ruggles, Evan Ruggles, Annie Steward and Bailey Pfeffer; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Zook retired in 2003 as president/CEO at Altoona First Savings Bank (formerly Altoona Federal Savings & Loan) and currently serves as chairman of the board. He is also a member of the Altoona Kiwanis Club.
Mrs. Zook retired in 1999 from the Hollidaysburg Area School District as a reading specialist.
The couple are lifelong members of the 28th Street Church of the Brethren, Altoona.
