Mr. and Mrs. Peter Carey of Ashville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 20, 1973, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Altoona. Mrs. Carey is the former Jane Litzinger.
The couple have two daughters: Alisa Adams (husband John) of Jeannette and Emily Carey (significant other Kevin Rhine) of Hollidaysburg. They also have two grandsons, Gideon Adams and Silas Adams.
Mr. Carey retired from New Penn Motor Express, Altoona.
Mrs. Carey retired from the Blair Senior Services production kitchen, Altoona.
Both are graduates of Hollidaysburg Area High School which is where they met.
