Mr. and Mrs. John Scalzi of Altoona celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 25.
They were married Aug. 25, 1973, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.
The couple have two children: John and Nicole Scalzi of Altoona. They also have five grandchildren: Brianna, Miranda, Gianna, Dominic and Joseph Scalzi.
The couple are former owners of Little Nikki's Italian Cafe, Altoona.
They are members of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
