Mr. and Mrs. William Dambeck of Altoona celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a surprise party held by their daughter at Jethro's of Altoona.
They were married on July 16, 1963, in Winchester, Va., and honeymooned in Ocean City MD.
Mrs. Dambeck is the former Judith Ann Over of East Sharpsburg.
The couple have two children: William D. Dambeck (deceased) and Becky Casalvieri of Altoona.
They also have five grandchildren: Kyle, Wyatt and Julia Dambeck and Samuel and Simon Casalvieri.
Mr. Dambeck retired as assistant director from the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mrs. Dambeck retired as a transporter for the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8.
