Mr. and Mr. Chester Boyd of Altoona celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
They were married April 19, 1958, at Arch Springs Presbyterian Church, Sinking Valley.
Mrs. Boyd is the former Nancy Carole Westley.
The couple have four children: Cindy (Terry) Kimmel of Altoona; Chris (Lisa) Boyd of York Haven; Cathy (Brian) Ehgartner of Gulf Shores, AL; and Carin (John) of Duncansville. They have nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Boyd retired from Veeder Root in 1997 after 37½ years. He also served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1959 and retired from the Army National Guard in 1993 after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Boyd retired from Kmart in 1992 after 18 years.
