Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Fickes of Imler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, April 20.
They were married April 20, 1973, at the Upper Claar Church of the Brethren, by the late Rev. Taylor Dively.
Mrs. Fickes is the former Anita Claar.
The couple have one daughter, April, of Coalport. They also have two grandchildren: Kristin and Derrick.
Mr. Fickes retired from Fi-Hoff Concrete, Johnstown, after 44 years.
Mrs. Fickes retired from Sheetz Brothers Kitchen, Claysburg, after 8¢ years.
