Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thomas "Tom" Starzecky of Tyrone celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on Jan. 8.
They were married Jan. 8, 1952, in Cumberland, Md. Mrs. Starzecky is the former Alfretta McCracken.
The couple have three children: Gay Price of Christiansburg, Va.; Patrick of Quakertown and Michael Thomas Jr., who is deceased.
They also have three granddaughters: Lauren Grinavich, Abby Starzecky and Jenny Starzecky.
Mrs. Starzecky is a homemaker.
Mr. Starzecky served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Verizon for 37 years.
