Mr. and Mrs. John Saive of 1153 53rd St., Altoona, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6.
They were married Nov. 8, 1962, in their hometown of Cambridge, Ohio. Mrs. Saive is the former Saundra Crouse.
The couple met while on a double date. They have lived in Altoona since 1974.
They have three sons: John and his wife, Cheryl of Altoona; Steve and his wife, Rhonda, of Hazleton; and William and husband, Garth, of New York City.
They have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Saive retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co., Northeast, Pa.
Mrs. Saive retired as a homemaker.
