Mr. and Mrs. William R. Hinton of 417 Hart St., Hollidaysburg, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner with family and friends at the Blairmont Club, Hollidaysburg.
They were married June 10, 1967, at Broad Avenue Presbyterian Church, Altoona. Mrs. Hinton is the former Marcia M. Piper.
The couple have two daughters: Autumn (Steve) Strauss of Chatham, N.J.; and Amber (Terry) Gordon of Derry. They also have four grandchildren.
Mr. Hinton is employed at UPMC Behavioral Health.
Mrs. Hinton is retired. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, No. 290.
The couple are members of Ward Avenue Presbyterian Church, Altoona.
