Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Lynch celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family luncheon and activities for the day.
They were married March 22, 1952, in Altoona. Mrs. Lynch is the former Addie N. Resides.
The couple have two children: Nadine Vogel (Robert) of Manassas, Va., and Fred D. Lynch, who is deceased. They have two grandchildren: Brittany Henry and Brady Vogel. They also have one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Lynch served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He retired from Conrail in 1987, after 40 years of service.
Mrs. Lynch worked at Sears and JC Penney and as a homemaker.
