Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ickes of Altoona will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 17. A card shower is being held.
They were married Nov. 17, 1956, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Juniata. Mrs. Ickes is the former Nancy Wilt.
The couple have four children: Becky Ickes of Altoona, Randy Ickes of Texas, Sharon Wolf of Cresson and James Ickes, who is deceased.
They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ickes retired from Penn Alto Bottling Co., Altoona.
Mrs. Ickes retired from Gardner's Candies.
