Marcia and Ron Wood-ring of Duncansville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 8, 2021, at Diamond Lane Farm in Roaring Spring.
They were married on Aug. 7. 1971, in Tyrone. Mrs. Woodring is the former Marcia Chencharick.
The couple have two sons: Eric of Duncansville and Adam of Altoona.
and two grandchildren Macenzie and Vance Woodring
Marcia graduated from Maryland Medical in Hagerstown, Md. She retired from the Van Zandt VA Medical Center, where she was the office manager for rehab services.
Ron retired from the physical plant at Saint Francis University in Loretto.
He was the water and wastewater supervisor for Saint Francis University and Loretto Borough.
