Mr. and Mrs. Fred Corbin of Hollidaysburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 15.
They were married Oct. 15, 1971, at First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg, by Pastor Donald L. Shafer.. Mrs. Corbin is the former Nancy Wise.
The couple have two children: Greg and his wife, Julie, of Riverview, Fla., and Laurie McMullen and her husband, Mike, of Hollidaysburg.
They have five grandchildren: Austin and Aaron Morse, Andrew and Matthew McMullen and Madelynne Corbin.
Mr. Corbin was employed as an electrician with Local No. 5, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Mrs. Corbin was a licensed practical nurse at Altoona Hospital.
