Tammi Davis of Altoona recently published "Through the Fire."
"Through the Fire" is a memoir about a pregnant young mother of two boys, an abusive boyfriend and a homicide charge that turns her life completely upside down.
"This powerful memoir explains trauma, healing, faith and how only God can turn tragedy into triumph," she said.
Davis was born and raised in Altoona, where she currently lives with her husband, children and extended family. "I love the Lord and enjoy ministering to women who have survived domestic violence," she said.
