The Roaring Spring Community Library has several activities for children.

Magical Make Believe Story Time with Miss Cortney — 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. All ages.

Snuggles and Paws for Reading — Children can practice their reading skills with certified therapy dogs. Scheduled for the first Saturday each month: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7; March 7; April 11.

Easter egg hunt at the library with special guests Paws for Reading — 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29 (ages 0-6) and 3:30 p.m. (ages 6 and above). Call 814-224-2994 to register.

Whimsical Wednesday evening storytime with Miss Pauline — 5 p.m. Feb. 11, 25; March 11, 25; April 8, 22. All ages.

Winter Wear Room (coats, hats, gloves, scarves for infants through adults at no charge) — 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays; 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Available through March 15, 2026.

Family Place Space — Enjoy a fun and welcoming environment where children along with their caregivers can play, learn and grow together. Open during library hours.

The Kids Pantry offers nutritious grab-and-go food items to youth during library hours.
