The 14th Annual Jake Webb Reunion was held on Oct. 11 at Progressive Martial Arts and Fitness Center on Route 764 in Duncansville. New and former members of the Altoona Barbell Club gathered to honor Jake on his 96th birthday. Those attending could tour the Jake Webb Hall of Fame Museum and relive the history of weightlifting and bodybuilding in Central Pennsylvania. The event featured a successful fundraiser for Mending Hearts Animal Rescue. There was also a Farmers Walk competition open to youth ages 8-15, women 16 and older, seniors 65 and older and an Open Division. Admission was free for all events, and donations for Mending Hearts were appreciated.
