Bellwood student chosen for Crimson court at IUP
INDIANA, Pa. -- A Blair County at Indiana University of Pennsylvania has been selected for the 2025 IUP Homecoming Crimson Court.
Members of the Crimson Court took part in all university Homecoming activities, including the annual Homecoming parade on Oct. 4.
The Crimson Court consists of students chosen by a university-wide student vote to represent each of the colleges at IUP.
To qualify for the court, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and be in good judicial standing.
Jocelyn McGuire, a speech pathology exploration student, was chosen to represent the University College.
Daughter of Susan and Steven Weaver, she is a 2023 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School.
She is a member and vice president of the Crimson Chords.
In addition to being part of the Homecoming parade and the half-time celebration during the Homecoming football game, the Crimson Court members were special guests for the Alumni and Friends Crimson Huddle Pregame Party, which annually draws up to 700 alumni and friends.
