While navigating the streets of Altoona, lost in contemplation, we unexpectedly veered onto a path, guided by forces beyond our understanding. Along Union Avenue, beneath the usual thunderous train crossing, we passed the aging UVA building, a witness to changing times. A weathered sign, still holding its ground, whispered to all who passed by. Today, it proclaimed, “Love saves,” and in that moment, a smile graced my lips. Sometimes, truth sparkles and warms our hearts. Yet, it was the second sign, near Russell’s tire shop, that solidified my conviction: “Believe the hype, it’s real.” Love truly saves, and I wholeheartedly embrace the truth. Love is real, and it has the power to change the world.
