The Curve remain tied for first place in the Southwest Division at 28-23 with Erie, which also lost Wednesday night. The Pirates recently promoted Davis to Triple-A Indianapolis after he ran roughshod over the Eastern League with the Curve. Davis was hitting .284 with 10 home runs and 27 RBIs at the time of his promotion. Following Altoona’s 6-4 win over Binghamton in front of 3,817 fans at PNG Field Sunday, Curve catcher Henry Davis was promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis. “It feels good,” Davis said from the clubhouse following the game. “I’m just going there to help the team win.” Davis is currently fourth among all Double-A players in on-base plus slugging and was hitting .284 at the time of his promotion.
