STATE COLLEGE Kish announces dividend The board of directors of Kish Bancorp Inc., parent company of Kish Bank, declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.39 per share. The dividend will be payable July 31 to shareholders of record as of July 15. Peoples Natural Gas rate drops

Peoples rate drops Customers of Peoples Natural Gas are paying less for their gas. Effective Tuesday, the quarterly adjusted gas cost commodity rate decreased from $5.32 per thousand cubic feet to $4.09 per mcf. With the decrease, a residential customer who uses 80,000 cubic feet per year, or 6.7 mcf per month, will see a monthly bill decrease of about $9, said Carol Scanlon, Peoples manager of rates. The commodity gas cost is a straight dollar-for-dollar pass through from Peoples to the customers, thus Peoples does not profit from the gas cost commodity rate, Scanlon said. Peoples ...

Sheetz kicks off fundraiser

Sheetz will kick off its annual month of in-store fundraising today to support Sheetz for the Kidz, an employee-driven charity supporting children in need. In July, customers at Sheetz’s 770-plus stores throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Michigan can support local children in need. They can do this by making a donation at the check-out at any Sheetz through change boxes or adding funds to their purchase at the point of sale.
