A Dysart man who was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a deadly crash Wednesday has died.
According to Logan Township police, Lawrence R. Resig, 49, escaped the Ford pickup he was driving when it caught on fire in a head-on collision, but he suffered serious injuries and was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Resig succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, police said Friday.
The driver of the other vehicle, 61-year-old Dennis J. Ivory, of Altoona, died at the scene of the crash, which happened at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Route 36, just south of Skyline Drive in Logan Township.
