Linda F. Stacey, 74, Altoona, peacefully passed away Monday, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Francis and Helen Ball.
On July 20, 1968, she married Richard Ellis Stacey in Altoona. They shared a loving partnership of 57 years.
In addition to her devoted husband, Richard, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Renee Stroup, and husband, Jeremy, of Altoona; grandchildren: Noah, Ethan and Tanner Stroup, Amber (Blake Evans) and Mikayla Stacey, Lindsey (Brice Nagle) and Mitchel (Kira) Stacey and Nevin Kelly; great-grandchildren: Brian, Finnick, Lillianna, Alivia, Eric and Avianna; and a sister, Louise Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Brian; a grandson, Derek; and an infant great-granddaughter, Avery.
Linda retired in 2018 from Pennsylvania State University -- Altoona Campus, where she worked in housing and food services. She found joy in shopping and loved sharing special gifts with her grandchildren, highlighting her nurturing spirit. Additionally, Linda enjoyed attending various sporting events to support her children and grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jason Mauk officiating.
