James R. Potts, 62, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Potts and Judith Ann (McGeary) Potts.
He married Kori Andrews on Dec. 18, 1992.
Surviving are his wife; and children: James Daniel Potts, Amber Lynn Potts, Jonathan Kruz Potts, Nathan James Potts and Jayne Krisan Potts; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings: Robert Potts Jr., Corinda Thomas, Tammy Weigner and Scott Potts.
He was preceded in death by sons, Kristopher James Potts and Adam David Weigand.
He retired in 2015 as the owner and operator of Jim's Tire Shop and previously owned Mr. Paver.
Jim was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
Friends will be received from 3 until the 6 p.m. funeral service Monday, April 21, 2025, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with the Rev. Roland Cadle officiating.
Following the funeral service, a meal will be provided and held at the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department, Hollidaysburg.
