Allegany College presents awards
CUMBERLAND, Md. -- Allegany College of Maryland held its annual All-College Awards Ceremony to recognize 76 outstanding students with 64 awards and departmental honors on May 14. The students received awards for their achievements in academics, athletics, community engagement, diversity or perseverance.
Local recipients include the following:

n Outstanding Achievement in Oral Pathology Award, Rebecca D'Ottavio, Altoona.
n Outstanding Achievement in Oral Periodontology Award, Rebecca D'Ottavio, Altoona.
n Outstanding Legal Studies Student Award, Brooke Colledge, Everett.
n Outstanding Student in Computer Technology, Ashton George, Bedford.
n Outstanding Student in Humanities Award, Sydney Wilfong, Altoona.
n Phi Theta Kappa Special Recognition Award, Brooke Colledge, Bedford, and Abigale Rose, Everett.
