Tigers open with win

INDIANA -- The Hollidaysburg Area High School boys tennis team opened its season on Thursday with a 5-0 win at Indiana.

The Golden Tigers picked up singles wins from Ben Johnson, Garrett Bouchard and Michael Waibel, while the doubles teams of Yvan Chen-Felix XU and Aamir Azad-Jacob Sidney, also won.

SINGLES: 1, Johnson, H, def. Wigner, 6-3, 6-3; 2, Bouchard, H, def. Kovac 6-1, 6-1; 3, Waibel, H, def. Riffer, 6-1, 6-1

DOUBLES: 1, Chen-Xu, H, def. Learn-Mock, 6-3, 6-3; 2, Azad-Sidney, H, def. Lamantia-Adulaila, 6-3, 6-4.
